NEW! A Solar Powered
version of the horse is now available along with a kit to retro-fit solar
power to an existing battery powered kinetic horse! The solar kit a
little soldering ability but should be suitable for a soldering beginer.
I've been tweaking the design of White Horse and Marble Horse for about
a year now and
finally, after many messages begging, offering bribes and generally
demanding I sell
people a paper horse or its plans, I've at last come up with a form a
feel happy sharing.
To build your own paper horse order the kit below, select the pattern
of your choice
(MarbleHorse, WhiteHorse or use WhiteHorse as a blank base to create
your own skin)
then print it out on 10 sheets of 160gsm paper and use the full colour
instructions +
parts provided to make your walking creature.
Here you can order
either the battery powerd or solar powered kinetic horse
automaton as a 'print and build' craft kit.
You will receive full colour instructions and the model patterns on
a disk along with all the other bits and pieces you need to make
the kinetic horse.

To make the Battery Powered horse, in addition to the kit, you require
a printer, 10 sheets 160gsm
A4 paper, scissors, a ruler, glue and a set of pliers. No other tools
are needed.
The Solar Powered Horse requires that you also have a soldering iron
and the instructions below:
